Using a layout within another layout in Xibo

Good afternoon,

Just wondering if there is a way to include a layout within another one. Let me explain.

We will be displaying to multiple juxtaposed monitors (3). To do so, we use a 3headToGo from Matrox. This way, we can play animation accross all 3 monitors.

However, we would like also to play other single screen layouts created for other monitors troughout our museum.

I was able to do so using Digital Signage and Rise Vision, but could not find a way to do it in Xibo…

Not at present I’m afraid.

1.8 brings reusable region timelines so you could include the timelines from your other layouts as part of the timeline of a region on another.

Thanks Alex. When is 1.8 planned for release ? Could we beta-test it ? We have to make a decision in the next couple of week…

At the moment we aim to start alpha testing at the end of August and beta testing before the end of the year.
