Group Admin
The group admin only has access to the parts of the CMS assigned to
the group they belong to. However they also have access to all the
media, layouts and schedule of users within that group. They are able to
view shared items that have the public sharing setting.
I don’t see what we’re doing wrong. It says that they “also have access to all the media, layouts and schedule of users within that group”.
I agree with you, it should work, you didn’t do anything wrong.
While we investigate why it doesn’t work, here is what you can do as a work around.
The user(44058) ie owner of the added media file will need to set permissions for his uploaded media file (screenshot.3).
Permission to view/edit/delete that file for whole group (PMU-GRP) or specific user if you’d want that.
This way the next user (P0003) will see this media file and will be able to edit/delete it (if you set his permissions for it).
The OWNER filter, for a user who is not admin group, is working well.
When the User is GroupAdmin, the system is listing all system users should only list the users who are part of groups this user is GroupAdmin.
