User can login locally, but not on server

Issue

We used a working version of Xibo 3.x and I made a local copy of this version on my pc to perform an update. The update worked fine, and so I moved the files and db back to the server. There I´m not able to login with any User, the creds are valid. It seems that the user gets directly dropped out and there is no error message.

What I´ve done so far:

  1. I checked if the db connection is established - yes
  2. I checked if the xibo_data folder is reachable - yes
  3. I also added encryption, public and private key as described here

4) I turned on error_reporting from PHP, with no result
