Hello all!!
I tried upgrading today from 1.7.9 to 1.8. RC2. I copied the settings.php to the new folder and then Login. Step 1 to 42 worked fine and then the following Message in Step 43 in the Upgrading Screen appears:
SQLSTATE[42S02]: Base table or view not found: 1146 Table ‘xibo1.lktagcampaign’ doesn’t exist

The upgrade is connecting to the old database without the table “lktagcampaign”. But what is wrong? I copied the old and unchanged settings.php into the new web folder. The Database login and password is different between 1.7.9 Database and 1.8 RC2 Databse. Is that may be the reason?

You could patch the code linked to in the above issue, or you could wait for RC3, which should be arriving in the next few weeks.
