Unable to load DLL 'libcef'. (Solved)

Windows XP SP3, cant run client 1.7.1, error Unable to load DLL ‘libcef’: Exception from HRESULT: 0xC000001D
Edit: same with 1.7.2

CEF should be off by default - can you make sure you haven’t enabled it in the display settings profile in the CMS?

This is new installation, I cant even set CMS address in xibo player, getting this error when trying to launch it.

I suspect it is because you tried 1.7.1 first - the default was incorrectly set to “ON”.

You will need to delete your config file from the user profile - roaming section. It will be called XiboClient.config.xml.

As Dan said it will be in the Roaming section of your user profile (eg c:\Users\username\AppData\Roaming) - not in the program installation folder.

Sorry, my bad, found it in application data folder (this is win xp).
