Transparent video on Xibo

Hi!
I’m trying to make a spinning logo on top of a jpeg-background. So the background of the logo has to be transparent. We have made the spinning logo to a GIF and it works, but we need it to be a video (avi, mov, mp4).
What format should we export the file to for it to make the background transparent on top of the jpeg-background? We have tried .avi but it didn’t work on Xibo.

None of the current supported players can do this. The old Linux player could with a MOV or FLV formatted video with alpha channel inbuilt but that’s no longer developed or supported and doesn’t work with current version CMS.
