Ticker - Feed - Background color of the region not working for Windows client

Set the layout background as green color.

Create a region and re-size it smaller. Add a ticker (RSS feed) to this region.

Set that ticker region background color to any color (e.g. blue)

On the Windows client 1.7.3, the blue color of the ticker region does not appear. The ticker region background color is transparent (it shows the layout background - green color).

On the Android client, R53, the blue color of the ticker region appears correctly.

Is this a Windows client bug?

If you’re using a layout background image then that will sit in front of any background colour you choose.

The Android Player supports true transparency so doesn’t have that limitation.
