do you mean thumbnail in CMS like this?:

It is showing background image, so maybe you have a black background image?

If you have different problem, let us know.

I know this an Android player limitation not bug.

Yes, Dan had confirmed that on Android player, video region will be screen shot as black region. He said that this is the current limitation on Andriod player. Video region is playback by GPU not CPU. So, a black region is captured instead. There is no solution or fixed for now. Unless, Xibo rewrites how a video region is playback on Andriod.
