Step - insert old display down events into new table

Hi
Just upgrading from 1.7.6 to 1.8.2 (custom on windows server 2012) then from there I was going to upgrade to the latest 1.8.x

I am getting as far as step 157, “Insert old display down events into new table”, then the upgrade process is just sitting on this step, and has been for about 5 hours. Do you know if this is normal?

Should I have upgraded to 1.7.9 first?

I would instead recommend upgrading to 1.7.9 or 1.7.10 before upgrading to 1.8.11, as there is an issue when upgrading to 1.8 from 1.7.6.
