Hello. I am trying to make some slower scrolling text. I have a simple region with text in the timeline. The text has an effect of “Marquee Up” and the speed is set to 0. Even at 0, the text scrolls up too fast to be read and would like to slow it down. I tried negative values but that doesn’t seem to work. Increasing the number makes it go much faster.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

From what I can see if it’s set to 0 or even 1 it still quite slow definitely easily readable.
Could you please tell us which CMS version are you using?

I am using version 1.7.4 of the CMS (running on Linux) and Windows Player 1.7.3 (weird, it says 1.7.13 in Programs & Features). I tried setting the browser version to 11 (via registry setting) and also using CEF. Both produce same results (not sure if you are using the browser for that anyway).
The text is quite small - perhaps that is the issue. It’s three paragraph of text.
I am also in the process of setting up an Ubuntu VM (I know the player is deprecated, just thought I would play with it) to see how that acts as I would love to have layout transitions but more importantly to see if there is any change in scroll speed.

Did you test the layout in preview mode or you have seen it on actual player? Because, If I remember well, I had a sitation where crawling speed in preview mode wasn’t the same as on player so I had to adjust it. I can’t remember if it was the latest server version or some older…

I am using the actual Windows Player for all testing as I have already seen a few differences in the preview mode so I do not use it.
