Showing a Youtube livestream

Issue

Cannot show a Youtube Livestream and can’t figure out why it isn’t working.

Live Royal Albatross Cam - #RoyalCam - New Zealand Dept. of Conservation | Cornell Lab

One of our departments wants to have this livestream of an Albatross chick showing, and all I get from Youtube is “Your browser can’t play this video” no matter what I tried to do with the embed code.

I’m hoping one of you out there will either know how to make this clip show, or at least explain why it won’t play.

tried running the latest windows version today and my live stream layout also says “your browser cant play this video”
windows 2 R258.1-258

windows 2 R201-201 works ok so ill downgrade for now

Thankyou, Dan. Have DM’d you back with my findings. For those reading this thread, it looks like Youtube’s livestream html5 player doesn’t want to run in an embedded mode of any fashion. However, normal youtube videos play fine with Dan’s suggested layout & script/code from the guide.

Thanks man. Tried it, but similar problem to what I get with Linux - browser can’t play video. I can’ however, get at the debug info, and that’s below;
