Show media in subfolders

CMSv3,4+

Since the introduction of Folders, it’s been a bit more tedious to navigate, manage, and browse files when they are separated among different folders. The ‘All Folders’ button is useful when one is completely oblivious to the location of the item they are looking for, but it would also be beneficial to have the option to show all files/media including subfolders. While it doesn’t solve the problem of users storing media in the wrong folder by accident, it would allow for admins/users to easily see all of the content within just a certain section of the tree.

For example:

Root
--Unit1
----Group1
------Group1Content
------Group1Displays
----Group2
------Group2Content
------Group2Displays
--Unit2
----Group1
------Group1Content
------Group1Displays
----Group2
------Group2Content
------Group2Displays
...etc..

It would be nice to be able to click on ‘Unit1’ and see both groups displays/content, or click on ‘Unit1 > Group1’ and see just their displays/content.

Summary: Add either a setting or another toggle box for ‘Show all content in sub-folders’

That would be a very useful for myself as well. Similar to the root/all folders button, if a given user’s home folder could have the same view all subfolder contents as well i think it would be helpful.
