With effect set to marquee up it scrolls from left to right!?
That’s odd, it seems to work fine for me on 1.7.9 client and CMS.
Could you make sure that it really is set to marquee up and that you have correct browser emulation entries for your machine - Enabling HTML5 in the Windows .net Player
Perhaps when you changed it to marquee up it didn’t updated on the player yet?
