we use RSS Elements to display our feed.
The option Number of Elements does not work.
We set it to show the 5 top most items but it still cycles through all news from the feed.
It works if we use one of the static templates. There it cycles through the top 5.
Is this something we can fix ourself or is it a bug in the 4.0.5 version?
I have tested and I am able to restrict the data to the top 5 items pulled through from the RSS feed successfully, however, if you have pinned data slots to prevent items being cycled there is indeed an identified bug which will be fixed in the next release.

thats strange as i’ve set no pinning.
I’ve created a new layout and put 3 RSS elements on the layout.
Then I set the Feed Url, Number of Items, Duration per item.
The duration is set to 10 seconds just to test it.
For testing I added a simple text with a duration of 5 minutes.
When I publish the layout for the client it cycles through the RSS feed but does not stop at 3 items.
It will iterate through all the rss items until the 5 minute text layer is up and the whole layout is refreshed.
So in my test RSS feed it goes to the 30th article.
