RSS feed says link is missing - not able to publish layout

Hey guys,
I tried to embed a rss feed from a newspaper to our xibo screens, when trying to publish the layout it says “link is missing” but there is a link in the ticker.
Anyone with the same problem or even a workaround?
we are currently running Version 3.0.8 on cloud.
