Hello, after upgrading to 4.2.1, our rss feed breaks.
We use RTV Dijk en Waard | - Feed wich is good; it worked! But, after upgrading is returns unxepected error in the layout editor.
This occurs more often. We tried RTV Dijk en Waard also; the website is wordpress so that would not be an isseu?

Could you please try creating a new layout with this RSS feed and check your log for any error messages? If you find any errors, please send us the log. Also, could you let us know from which CMS version you performed the upgrade to 4.2.1?

Ir was on version 4.12; went firts to 4.2.0 and the problem came. So we did a rollback to the old version.
Now in the new version the problem is there again. Also with the 4.11 it is there.
I will try to make a new, empty layout and check the logs tomorrow

Could you please try this RSS Feed and see if it works?
When we tried the RSS feed RTV Dijk en Waard | - Feed, we encountered the following error, which is different from the one you’re seeing. This RSS feed should not have worked with 4.1.2 or 4.2.*, so I am not sure how it appeared to be working in 4.1.2.
So, to resolve this… Go back to an older version of Xibo? Because we need this to get the right pictures behind the news. And that is the only way for us to get this fixed,
It even occured while using the “normal” rss feed. We no temperary fixed it. But, still it is strange, in an old version of Xibo (went back to 3.x) it still gave the same error…
getData: Failed to get data cache for widgetId 1899, e = Cache not ready
This error is related to Dataset widget and this is not linked to the issue you are having. The Widget Sync task need to run for dataset widget to fetch data.
We have found that the RSS feed you are trying to use was never compatible with CMS V4.
If you are currently on V3, we recommend staying there for now. We have reported this to the development team to investigate why your RSS feed is not working.
