Resolution problem

Hello,

i got a weird resolutuion issue with my antroid TVbox with xibo-player V2 R211.

TV has 1920x1080.
TVbox is set to 1080P_60Hz. TV reports input signal als 1080p 60 Hz. All menues and even xibos-players settings menue look well and sharp.
Layout is set to 1080p HD Landscape.
Region ist 1920x1080.
JPG ist 1920x1080 an looks sharp on my desktop display.

If display resolution is set to nothing or to “0,0,1280,720” STATUS says: screen size 1280x720.
Layout looks OK, but picture is a bit blurry.
I think this is because its rendered by xibo-player to 720p and upscaled to 1080p by the output of the TVbox.

If display resolution ist set to “0,0,1920,1080” STATUS says: screen size 1920x1080.
But Layout is cropped:
It looks like layout is rendered to 1080p but only the 1280x720 portion from upper left corner ist taken and upscaled to 1080p.
I was thinking of the display zoom setting in android, but ist set to smallest and has even no effect when set higher.

Thanks in advance for any hint.

It seemes to be related to firmware/hardware of the TVbox, as other apps like player, imageviewer, browser etc. do the same 720p rendering.
I need to look for a better hardware.

Is there any hardwareplayer that is able to show images in native QHD 3840x2160 resolution ?

As i understand the recommended DSDevices DCS9 renders in 1080p and upscales to QHD.
Is that right?
From DCS9 specs: " HDMI: HDMI 2.0a up to 4K @ 60Hz (1080p upscaled to 4K) "
