Problem Linux Player V1.8 R7 and Video

Hello,

I have an Ubuntu Server 22.04 LTS GUI, GNOME with Xibo CMS 4.0.6 installed
The player V1.8 R7 is also installed on the server (this is the only version that also plays videos)

Now my Problem
If I upload a video that is, for example, 9 seconds long, the player plays it, but then it looks as if the player crashes and is restarted by the watchdoc.
It’s not a problem with images and they are displayed endlessly depending on the settings

Does anyone have the same problem or is there a solution?

Hi, i have the same issue with V1.8 R7
Videos play and then the player crashes
Also with this version i can not display websites

I tried V1.8 R6 and with that version websites work fine
but videos do not work at all

Some info about the player system:

Thanks for the information, now we have to wait for a solution. I would also use another Linux if I knew which one would run without errors. Since it’s a small system, I can’t install an extra player, for example. Android because that’s where it works
