Player Refreshes region through black

Hey there,

I’ve been trialing Xibo for use with Conference Room signage and so far so good. (Using 1.8.3a)
The only issue I’m facing is that when the Player refreshes, the regions turn Black (the background colour as per the Layout) for a second or two, then reloads. This refresh looks a bit ugly but I’m not sure if it’s just the 1.8.3 alpha Windows player that does this, or every version of Xibo.

Does anyone have any ideas on how to make the refresh look seamless?

I think this would improve the situation for you: https://github.com/xibosignage/xibo/issues/759

This made it in 1.7.7 and will be pulled into 1.8.0-beta when it is released. You can run 1.7.7 against your 1.8.0-a3 CMS to make sure you’re happy with the fix.
