New to Xibo, need help. I’ve one windows pc connected to screens in a waiting room. I need a simple layout. Video playing from the pc with a section to display a waiting time. No internet connection and waiting time to be updated manually at the pc. Is this possible?

You can indeed create a Layout that will display a video as well as text that will confirm how long the waiting time is. To add a Video to a Layout, you would use the Video Widget, for the text, you have a few options, for example you could use the Text Widget or you could use a dataset. I’m a little unsure as to what you meant when you said No internet connection and waiting time to be updated manually at the pc. When you create a Layout, schedule it to a Player or make any changes to a scheduled Layout, all of this must be done using your CMS. Your Player will therefore need to be connected to your CMS across a network.
