Maximum Resolution - Windows Player

Hi there,

I’m looking to use Xibo in a project for a customer, i’m looking to find out if there is a maximum resolution of a single player instance for the Xibo on Windows player.

One use case is a 5x3 (also have others e.g 3x3) video wall made up of 1080p displays, using a video wall controller, fed by a windows PC using Nvidia Mosaic so only one instance required to prevent tearing, i will need to push video over to this display, mostly as one large region (custom content created as one file at 9600px x 3240px).

I look forward to the response!

Cheers
Mitch

Hi Mitch, I can’t think of anything that would speak against it!
I’m running 5x1 FHD screens without any issues on a Xibo player. In my case, it’s on AMD, but in the end, it’s the same with Nvidia.

PS: The new Xibo version also supports Sync Groups, so you could also use multiple Xibo players in a matrix or video wall setup.

Thanks for that!

Good news, do you use content created at 9600x1080 in the layout view?

Yea I saw the sync group feature, looks like it could be great for video walls but unfortunately not supported on the Windows player.
