HI! I am just testing out Xibo and have hit a “funny” with the Linux player. CMS is newest v3 on Debian, Linux player is installed on Zorin using snap. Player displays all content correctly except simple text running as a marquee. Marquee text displays correctly in preview and also displays correctly on a Xibo Windows player. Player lists as updating correctly in the CMS. Just wondering if I am missing something?

Transitions are currently not supported for Xibo for Linux. The roadmap has this planned in for the 1.8 R7 release.

Thanks for this. I read the release notes but it didn’t “click” with me regarding the transitions. GUess will stick with Windoze clients for now.
