Linux client 1.8-R7 and Invalid Layouts

Issue

I have built a new ubuntu 22.04 LTS and installed xibo-player --channel=beta
Assign any layout to the display and it reports invalid layout for every layout assigned
No data under Missing Files tab

I also get a few 200’s but also some 500 errors on our web server when we boot up the player

the xmr daemon is running with the correct port info in the CMS Settings.
I have also set the display profile to linux before authorizing the client.

looking for any ideas i can do to debug, thank you!
