Layout too large?

I have two monitors next to each other in a video wall format. Each monitor is 1080x1920 for a total resolution of 2160x1920. I have the display settings profile, resolution, and the layout all set to 2160x1920, but when I get it on the monitor it’s far too large, only about the top left quarter of the screen was showing. I got it to work by playing with the region until I got the region to fit on the two monitors, the region ended up being 1440x1280, not perfect but pretty close. What is causing the layout to be so much larger than the designated resolution?

Hmm that seems odd.

Also seems odd for a region size on your[quote=“dstewart, post:1, topic:7380”]

sized layout, I’m not sure why that size would fill two monitors.

I haven’t check it with portrait orientation, but with landscape and two screens ie 3840x1080

When I had layout, image, display profile set to that resolution it filled the whole two screens nicely (as it should).

we can’t do landscape, it has to be portrait, so I don’t think 3840x1080 would work

Well I did not want to suggest that you do it in landscape orientation, I just told you that it worked for me and that I see no reason why portrait resolutions would be different.

I’ll try to check it later today.

Your displays are (or are set to) 720p, not 1080p? 1440 / 2 = 720. 1280W x 720H is 720p. Obviously your width becomes your height so two screens at 720p rotated would be 1440x1280.
