Is there anyway to set Xibo to default to the Grid timeline in the layout designer? I find the list timeline takes up way too much space and often bugs out so that I cant actually get to the bottom of the page

There isn’t at present unfortunately - the select is based on your user session and it defaults to List until you have selected grid at least once.
Just for our information with reference to this: Layout Designer Timeline Improvements - how many items do you typically have in the list?
Right now I only have seven or eight items in each timeline but thats only because I cleaned it up not that long ago but in the past I’ve probably had just shy of fifteen items in some timelines.
Do you think the suggestions in the topic I linked to would solve your issue?
The topic talks about replacing the list and grid with something that adapts to the number of items and is generally more usable.
