"Hello everyone, I’m Schweminska, a 29-year-old from northern Germany with a degree in Computer Science, specializing in Human-Computer Interaction. My main area of expertise is Java Enterprise system development and business automation. I primarily work as a managed service provider, focusing on multi-location network solutions. Over time, I’ve expanded my skill set to include C#/.NET development, especially after discovering Xibo, which also led me into the field of digital signage.
I first encountered Xibo while working for a well-known pizza delivery chain (the one with the “D”) during my studies. I quickly realized that many fast-food chains were struggling with outdated systems—using USB playlists to manage digital MenuBoards, which made updating content across even a handful of stores cumbersome and inefficient.
Recognizing this challenge, I began offering Xibo as a “Setup-and-Forget” solution, especially for franchise-based restaurants like burger, pizza, pasta, sushi, and kebab chains. Xibo’s seamless integration with existing infrastructures, automatic media updates, and real-time delisting of out-of-stock items have proven to be the perfect fit for these businesses. It keeps their MenuBoards up-to-date and running smoothly, while also helping reduce personnel costs by eliminating the need for manual updates.
Although Xibo is not my main focus, it has become a valuable addition to my services, particularly for clients in the system gastronomy industry.
I’m excited to join the Xibo community, share my experiences, and learn more about how to further leverage digital signage technology." Schweminska
