We have purchased several DSDX5 players and are encountering an issue with connecting them to our corporate WiFi network (PEAP-TLS). To do this, we need to install our internal corporate CA certificate into the device trust store.
I attempted several ways to have the cert installed without success:
Install from system “Install a certificate”: “you don’t have app that can do this”
Remounting /system as RW (fails: “not in /proc/mounts”) (A/B partitions).
Using ADB intents to trigger the installer (fails: “Permission Denial”).
Attempting to use the trust command (command not found).
The DSDX5 is not on our supported list and so you would need to go to back to EV4 and explain to them the issue you are facing. It is likely it may need a firmware fix?
it is bad news, we thought it is supported like the retired DSCS9X was.
While we will no longer be selling the DSCS95 and DSCS9X, we will continue to collaborate with DSDevices and recommend their devices as trusted, high-quality solutions within our partner ecosystem. Alongside DSDevices, we’re proud to already be working with some of the world’s leading technology brands, who offer powerful, reliable solutions ready to run Xibo out of the box.
thanks for your response, I will connect to dsdevices.
Our team do not have access or knowledge of that particular device. We have expanded on our list of supported devices and comparisons, which you can find here: Xibo Device Feature Support - Google Drive
As a side note, I will get that post amended to avoid future confusion.
