Error Messages in Player

I’m testing Xibo at work and have setup a POC. I’m running the server on RHEL 7 64bit. The Xibo client is running on Windows 10 (I’m just testing on my desktop).

The error messages that show for the display are shown below. Any suggestions?

today I had the same problem. For info. My layout got in the middle a text and bside of that text two more regions which are for logos. Most times just with one logo. My Standard layout didn’t got displayed anymore with this error. So I was hunting it and copied the whole layout and deleted one by one region to find it out. At the end I had success, as one of the empty region was the faulty thing. After I deleted it, it worked perfectly again and as well when I just added a PNG file with empty background it worked.

That workaround is okay, but it is strange in my case. Because I am using Xibo now for months and I always had minimum one empty region in my layout and I never had this problem before.

Empty regions have always been invalid in Xibo. The Windows player was more tolerant of that historically but I can tell you categorically that an empty region on a layout will prevent it playing on a Player. The CMS checks for that and shows you in the layout status if there’s an empty region.
