Enhancement : Run shell command on demand

hello,

it would be great to allow to run a command layout on demand from the CMS like it is already possible with wakeonlan.

or add a page in the cms where we can edit a list of custom commands to be run on a display client when clicking on a button. i.e. reboot, force an app to quit, mute / unmute audio etc…

I agree that it would be a good enhancement - as a workaround you could have a suite of layouts that you “schedule now” with the priority flag ticked.

Thanks for the tip.

Here is an example of a tool i used some times ago on a raspberry pi
The section “commands” was really usefull
Something similar with choice of the display to send the command to would be nice.
Maybe adding the choice to launch the command server side or client side would be interesting too
