EASE Shared Dashboard webpage will not load

CMS Version 2.3.3

Windows Xibo Player

Player Version 2.0.200

I am trying to display a shared dashboard from EASE. I simply put the webpage in and it displays within the Xibo preview panel. However, when I publish it, the page opens and displays the animated EASE logo but never displays the dashboard. On the client PC, I am able to open the page in a web browser. Any help would be appreciated.

Thank you,
Patrick

2 R200 will be using IE11, which may no longer be supported by EASE.

Assuming you are on Windows 10, you could try upgrading to v2 R258 to see if that solves your issue:

Thank you for your suggestion. We have installed v2 R258 and it just never seems to finish. It stops prior to Step 5 in the instructions. It states that the Xibo installation ended prematurely. Any ideas?

Try a reboot, close the Xibo Player and Watchdog making sure there’s no leftover processes from that in the Task Manager and try again.

If that does not work then take a look in the Windows Event Log to see what it says, there will be an error in there which will give you a start point to resolve.

Natasha,
Thank you again. We have followed your suggestions. Sadly, we are not having any success. Here is what our IT person has to report:

These are the only errors I see in the Event Viewer if you want to pass along to the Xibo support team. This is in the System log.

Does anyone have any suggestion for our issue? Thanks in advance!

I have taken this to our support team for advice who have said the following:

“Googling suggests that there’s some issue with permissions on various keys in the registry. It might be that they’ve got some lockdown applied from Group Policy or similar that’s preventing the install completing. It’s not something I’ve seen anyone report before so I suspect it’s specific to that PC, or if it’s all PCs on a domain to their group policy settings”

I hope that may shed some light?
