I’ve never used the Tizen player but am interested in actually buying proper 24/7 or 16/7 displays rather than random consumer TVs. I’m having trouble navigating the options available. It looks like the newest and nicest displays are the QBC/QMC/QHC models, but those are flagged on Tizen Supported Monitors as not supporting v4 and to instead use R311.

Other displays, like the QBB/QMB/QHB models say they support R207/R301 or newer, but no mention of v4 support or not. These models also seem like they are discontinued.

All the others listed look like they have much older versions of Tizen.

Does anyone with experience have some general guidelines on the different Samsung models? I’m not really wanting to get involved with sales pipelines when I’m pretty much just looking for 1 display right now.

Thanks for mentioning this - my recollection is that we fixed an issue with the Tizen app in v4 R403 so that it would work with the QBB/QMB/QHB series, but let me check with the team to confirm as its strange the supported monitors article doesn’t reflect that.

I can confirm that these are supported from v4 R403. I have updated the supported monitors article to suit. Thanks for letting us know.
