I own a digital sign firm and my questions is can I use Xibo for multiple clients?

I’m not sure I completely understand what you’re asking.
If by “clients” you mean computers running the Player software, then yes, a single CMS can service multiple Displays/Players.
If by “clients” you mean can you have multiple tenants in a single Xibo CMS (ie lots of different companies), then yes potentially you can, but we strongly advise you not to. The software has a permissions system which will allow you to restrict access to displays, media, layouts etc by group memberships, but there are still places that a user can see a full list of other users (so that they can assign permissions on things they own to others for example).
If you want a system with different groups which should never mix, then a CMS instance per group is the correct way to do it.
Permissions aside, it will also make doing upgrades easier since each group can then choose when to upgrade their CMS version, and hence the Player software they’re running. Otherwise you’d have to try and coordinate everyone to do an upgrade on the same day which could be logistically difficult.
