I have a client machine which ip address 192.168.5.xxx, 255.255.248.0 and 192.168.0.1
server’s settings are: 192.168.16.3 , 255.255.248.0 and 192.168.16.1.
both computers don’t let to change ip address from same ip range.
is it possible to connect from client to server computer?
You would need a router between the two to join the two subnets together.
This isn’t specific to Xibo - any IP based application would have the same requirements. You can’t communicate over a network if the devices are in different subnets, without a router to link them together.
