Dataset HTML type and Line break

To be completed by the original poster:
CMS 2.3.10
Im trying to achive Line Break in a single String type
i couldn’t find anyway to make it work

  • a single Space is allowed in String type field.

  • tags are automagically removed
  • also tried /r/n

there is HTML type in dataset, however it seems to behave exactly as String

does anyone know how to achieve line break in dataset field value or use the HTML type ?
