Could not add new media into the library location

Hi Team,

I have installed xibo on ubuntu 12.04 and installation was successfull when i change the library location from xibo to remote cifs share i was to not able to upload any new media files but i can modify or delete the content in the remote library.

->I have set the permission for the apache user(www-data) for all files in the directory.
->I couldnt find any error on logs.

Is the CIFS share mounted so that all system users can access it? The webserver will be running as the www-data user, not the user you’re logged on as.

It’s not a configuration we would recommend as it will break the CMS if the CIFS share goes offline for some reason.
