CMS 4.1.0 Players showing outdated photos

Client 402.1 and another one slightly older.

There are links to a jpg that is hosted on the same Xibo server, delivered daily by a powershell script (daily calendar photos from miniature-calendar.com). Two of the layouts, when played on the player, show a photo from 6 months ago. When examined in the layout builder, and when accessing the link directly from Chrome on the player PC, the current jpg is shown.
Another layout that plays on the same player shows the current picture.
Both Players shows as checked in and current in the displays page in the CMS

Without uninstalling and reinstalling the player, how do I clear the cache and get the correct jpg showing?

On display edit, and the last tab, you can check “Clear cache” option, and save display.

That box is already checked.

There’s a new pic every day, so I would think that the new pic would be displayed no matter what.

Why not using your script with API to add the media to the library. More stable for your use case

We’ve tried using the API for other things (dataset), and it hasn’t worked (see my other unsolved topics). It works on other displays.

My fix was to start a new library on the client and have it download everything again. So far the daily pics have shown up correctly.
