Client cannot connect ssl channel

Since Friday we are getting this message, when client wants to connect:(player/cms 1.8.12)

The request was aborted: Could not create SSL/TLS secure channel

I have checked the ssl/tls from our Webserver:

TLS 1.3 No
TLS 1.2 Yes
TLS 1.1 No
TLS 1.0 No
SSL 3 No
SSL 2 No

Any suggestions why now?

Edit: after a phone call with the provider its clear: they shutdown support for TLS 1.1, so is there a way that player/cms 1.8.12 still use https, i think the player/cms are using TLS 1.1.

Version 2 Xibo for Windows Players use TLS 1.1/1.2 by default. Older versions can be made to use newer TLS by adjusting your registry settings - but this may also impact other applications, so be sure you understand the implication before doing so.
