Canva-Selfhost unable to publish your design

Hi all,

I was able to connect canva and xibo once i opened 443 to internet. however, when i go to publish, it says the following:

Sometimes that error message appears but the design is still published to the CMS as a new layout. Please can you check if the layout has been sent to your CMS despite the error?

I see there is an entry, however, there is no data in the layout.

Is there a way to manually do this until I can get this fixed?

Also how do I fix this :frowning:

I can actually see that it transfers the media, it just does not attach it to the layout.

We are working on a new Canva app as they are deprecating and removing the API we’ve been using, unfortunately as a result we’re not able to change the existing app anymore. The new method is better and should reduce these type of errors - plus we can actually work on it to fix them.

We hope to submit it before the end of the month, and then Canva will review it before making it available.

Sorry for the inconvenience, but there is not much we can do until we’re using the newer APIs.

I’m experiencing the same issue. Logs show that it has an error:

	/api/library/uploadUrl	fetchDurationOrDefaultFromFile; Missing playtime_seconds in analyzed file. Error: Unknown

I have tried both PNG and JPG formats. It does upload the file, and create the layout but says it is unsuccessful the same as OP.

Any news on progress with Canva and the new API?

The new app is with Canva for review and we hope to have something in the next month.
