Cannot seem to get Video player to embed

Hello all & Happy New Year,

I am sure there is an answer in these forums somewhere but after a week of searching and internet research I throw my hands in the air and ask the community for some assistance.

I have Xibo Version 4.1.2 on ubuntu 24.04 running with the docker version.

I have had good success getting Youtube videos embedded in layouts and they play perfectly at this time

The issue is I am trying to embed the video player from this site “Watch CP24 Live – Stream Breaking News Coverage Today” so I can have it play in rotation with other content but for the life of me I cannot get it to embed and play neither with the embedded widget or the HTML widget.

Any help would be appreciated.

Watching this topic, since my team and I fight with trying to get autoplay to work from a Vimeo stream annually for our University’s commencement.

Typically we have to VNC into Windows players and click the mouse to get the stream to play regardless. On Android players (Sony Bravia TVs) we gave up entirely, and exit Xibo to play from the onboard web browser, since the only way we could get them to start playback was plugging in a USB mouse to click.
