Version 2.3.14 - this is a docker installation.

Issue

Login to CMS* stalls out. Can return to login screen immediately but cannot ever login.

This issue began while I was troubleshooting a player not updating connecting to the CMS for updates. 2 of 3 players were up to date but 1 was not. While troubleshooting, the CMS site stopped responding. Then I found that I could not get back into CMS and that after entering credentials, the website would spin until nginx returns 504.

I was able to get around this by doing two things. Turning off the player that was not working initially and pulling xibo cms out from behind the nginx proxy. I do not know what was really going on or which action “resolved” this.
