I love Xibo, it’s making me look really good at work.
The playlist editors though need to be a little more compact. 1 line per item. Edit-delete-permissions should be a right click option submenu.
Basically Grid view, with list view editing/drag drop, and a lot less top/bottom padding/line spacing.
We do have plans to improve that, well 1.8.0-rc1 already has some UI improvements over 1.7 series.
Do you think you could add more details to your post and then perhaps move it to feature category please?

Here’s a nice picture of Winamp in all of it’s glory. Left side is my media library, right side is my playlist. I’d like to see something similar when I’m editing a regions playlist. It’s just nice and compact, lets me see a large playlist.
So maybe a split view on the region playlist editor (media on left, playlist on right) with drag n drop between the media library and playlist. Any edit/delete etc on the playlist is shoved into a right click context menu.
