Calendar Module - option to exclude current events

Introduction

I’m currently creating a layout for a meeting room displays. There are two regions, one for the current event and one for upcomming events. I would like to show the next 4 events in the upcomming region. During a current event, it is shown in both regions. I would like to have the option to exclude the current event in the “upcomming” region.
