Player (2.02) works in Android with code from …developers.google.com/youtube/iframe_api_reference, but hangs in Linux (Ubuntu 18.04 / player 1.8r3) after short time.

i too have this issue. funny enough twitch streams seem to play just fine…

Hi andreas, welcome to the Xibo Forum!

I am currently running 1.8 R4 of the Xibo for Linux Player and have created a Layout that plays Youtube embeds without issue so far. I used the recommended script in the documentation below. Can you create a Layout that contains an Embed widget configured as described in the doc and confirm if this resolves the issue?

… but works, no problems in player android + windows
