Background image displayed in designer but not on the actual display

Issue

I setup a Weather widget, and replace the background image with one of our own image (a small jpeg file)
The image does show up in Layout designer but doesn’t show up in the player. Instead of the image, it is just black (or blank) on the Display screen (a regular 4K TV)

Any idea what specification of the image such as resolution, dimension, etc… that we must follow?

Image must be low-res and small in size
