I got xibo running for a customer and i have added embedded audio.
But when they switch to a other template the music needs a buffering.
is it posible that i can fade oud the audio when is use a other program for the music?
In 1.7 series, there is no audio module, so you’re basically using video module to play audio only.
Which should work fine in most cases, perhaps better than embedded item.
To allow that you’d need for example .mp3 file and you’d need to go to Modules page in CMS, find video module, edit extensions and add .mp3 to the list, this way you will be able to upload mp3 to the CMS and then add it to your layout via layout designer video module.
In 1.8 (currently in alpha soon in beta) there is dedicated audio module, so it will be easier.
I got a Multicast stream, is it possible to add it in the new version as dedicated?
And can i test the new version?

Xibo 1.8.0 beta has an audio media type - which you can use like any other media item in a region timeline.
You can also attach audio to other media items and the audio will play at the same time as those media items come on screen.
