I have installed the Android App on several Android TV. We are just using some Android TV for pictures and embedded Youtube.
Introduction
After installing the app and registering to our CMS, the app is only clickable via systems/apps. There is no shortcut in Homescreen next to the other apps.
User Story
After installing the app in Android TV I couldn’t find the app. Found it in settings/apps, with XMR the app starts now in 10 sec, but sometimes the app needs to be started manually (experienced while testing). With the addition of a shortcut in the Home screen, the user can pickup a remote control and start the app manually from the Android TV Homescreen.
