Android player R311 goes to splash screen

Hello
For some reason it plays the content but after a while, it goes to the splash screen and stays.
I’m using the 3.3.6 cms version.

Are you playing a video? Xibo will attempt to play a video 2 times before deciding its the wrong format and reverting back to the splash.

  • Check the video is rendered to the correct format (we use handbrake to re-render)
  • Try changing the video player in display settings of the CMS - this sometimes helps.

It’s mp4 but something might be wrong. I’ve created a new layout with different content and apparently it’s working
I guess i’m eliminating the blacklist of videos in the cms.
Is it safe to use the android video player? Never tried it before
