Xibo for Resellers is a program provided by Spring Signage which helps solutions providers and integrators to build and sell products/services based on Xibo and the value added services from Spring Signage.
The program is an annual subscription - a high level overview and information about joining can be found on the website.
The Spring Signage Reseller Account is an annual subscription and available to purchase from our online Shop. Our products and services may be provided to your customers without joining the official program, but you will be unable to access product discounts and unable to tell your customers you are an official reseller.
Is the program available in all countries?
The reseller program is available in all countries worldwide.

The open source software is free software and cannot be sold (the above items are our services built around the software), however you may provide the software to customers free of charge and charge for value added services (installation, support, design, etc). This is covered under the AGPLv3 licence and you do not need a reseller agreement with Spring Signage to do this.

Lead generation based on your region and expertise is an important part of becoming a successful reseller. Spring Signage may forward you qualified sales leads from time to time.
Manage billing and pricing
Resellers have full ownership of billing and pricing - Spring Signage will only ever bill the reseller directly.
Support and training are an important part of a Xibo based solution. Resellers are expected to provide these services to their customers.
Resellers are expected to disclose the terms of any Open Source components provided in the solution. The Reseller Account is not a grant of licence beyond the AGPLv3.
What do Spring Signage provide?

The application program interface or API for short can be used to integrate our platform operations into your own e-Commerce or Customer Portal system. The API can view details in your account, create orders and issue updates to key fields.

How do I make money when Xibo is free and Xibo for Android is competatively priced?
In the case of a white label, moving to an Xibo based solution often means higher margins on both internally developed signage platforms and commercially available alternatives.
Xibo branded solutions are typically sold through resellers when the customer does not have the technical expertise to configure the system. In these cases partner services, e.g. consultation, data migration and change management are vital in successfully deploying the solution.

Do I need to make an up front investment?
Yes, the reseller account is £110 per year. This charge covers our administration of the platform and the features available in your account.
