I have 20 Displays, and I have a layaout with calendar, but each display show its own calendar. How can I set a variable on each display that I can use in layout? Something like {ics}. I mean a parameter unique in displays that you can use in layouts.
I don’t believe the displays are aware of what tags they have.
I think what you’re asking is can you have 1 layout with all the calendars on it. Then the display chooses which one to play based off its calendar tag value?
The end result being less work for the user(you) to have to do setting everything up. Hopefully someone has a suggestion, because I agree that would make scheduling content way easier.
