Xiboclient has stopped working

Please anyone who can help me? It keeps on clashed. I encounter one of my workstations.

The error message suggests that the issue is with wmvdecod.dll, which is a wmv playback codec. This is a part of the Windows operating system, not Xibo. It is likely the issue is being caused by a problem with your hardware or Windows.

I would recommend checking Windows and your hardware for faults. Below are a list of suggestions:

  1. Make sure Windows is up to date.
  • If you are using Windows 7, you will find the option to check for updates in your Control Panel, System and Security.
  • For Windows 8.1 and Windows 10, you will find the option in your Settings menu.
  1. Make sure all Drivers are up to date. I would recommend going to Company website for your hardware (Graphics card, Motherboard) and checking for new drivers.

  2. Run sfc /scannow from an elevated command prompt, to repair/replace any corrupted system files. To open an elevated command prompt:

  • Open the Start menu and type CMD. This will find Command Prompt, which you then have to right click on. From the menu that appears, select Run as Administrator.
  1. Test your RAM for possible faults. Windows has a built in Memory Diagnostic tool, but others are available to download online.
